William Storrow Lovell (1829-1900) was a planter with lands in Adams County, Miss., and Warren County, Miss. The collection includes journals kept by William Storrow Lovell recording daily agricultural activities at Elmsland plantation in Adams County, Miss., 1866-1877; at Rosedale plantation on Palmyra Island, Warren County, Miss., 1877-1887; and at other plantations. Also included are records of various financial transactions relating to the plantations.
